Co-Host of OnTarget and Co-Owner of L.E.P.D. Firearms, Range & Training Facility, Eric brings his 20 years of sales experience to the business.

Eric grew up in central Ohio and graduated from Ohio State with a degree in Microbiology. Having come from a close family, Eric immediately went through the police academy after graduation to follow in the footsteps of his father. (Phil) For the past 20 years, he simultaneously pursued a career in pharmaceutical sales & law enforcement and was lucky enough to get married & start a family here in Columbus.

Having a strong passion for law enforcement & with sales experience in his corner, Eric began a successful business as a hobby in 2006. LEPD Industries as it was known, sold firearms & equipment to local law enforcement and first responders. In 2011 when it was evident that he could turn his hobby into a career, Eric and his father (Phil) decided to pursue a life-long dream of owning a gun store & range. There vision was for a business where they saw themselves working daily with friends & family to offer a different experience for people looking to purchase firearms for personal protection or hobby. They also envisioned a store where local law enforcement would frequent and even had their own cruiser parking spots!

After kicking around the idea for months, Phil made his now famous quote, "If we are going to do this, we have to do it now because I am not getting any younger" , and the stage was set!

In April 2013, L.E.P.D. Firearms, Range & Training Facility "stopped locking the doors" and they were off and running. It was soon evident that the quality of employees they amassed were top notch and offered a very diverse knowledge base. Shortly after opening, with already more on their plate than they imagined, Eric pursued an offer to host a weekly radio show with employees from the store!

The culmination of years of planning and a lifetime of experience has brought the group together weekly for OnTarget.
